Race Report
Fun Day.
Well the annual fun day has been run, and that means no more racing for 2010.
I would like to thank everyone for their efforts in 2010 and look forward to seeing more in 2011.
We tried a few different things this year, the first was a constancy race. Each driver could choose any car, and had 3 laps to get their lap times a close as possible.
With some close times, the eventual winner with a 0.05 constancy was Peter Freedman. So look out for Peter in 2011 by the looks of it.
We also ran a couple of last man standing races. This is where each lap the person who is running last comes into the pits and is out of the race. In 17.5 the eventual winner was Matt Aqulina, in 18R even after a drive though penalty for being too far ahead was Paul Davis.
We also ran a 10 min mini, mini endure. It came down to who’s battery was going to last the distance and after 10 laps came down to the final corner, with Paul Davis being the eventual winner.
We even had a little drifting taking place at one point.
Once again thanks to everyone.
